Are You A Boardbooster Orphan?
Tailwind should be your next auto-scheduling home. And here is why:
Through my two years of blogging I had heard that Boardbooster was not an authorized app with Pinterest, but did not really believe it. Not sure why they closed down, but if those rumors were true then that has to be it. I know A LOT of bloggers that were using it and are probably trying to decide who to go with next.
Tailwind should be your next service because they are awesome all around.
They post automatically to Instagram for you! You don’t have to copy and paste anything, and they help you find great #hashtags too.
Once you install the Google Chrome app, all you have to do is press the button, choose which photos you want to share and schedule them. Boom. Done.
Posting and scheduling for Pinterest is easy too. You can go to whichever page you want to share, press the TailwindApp share button and schedule your heart out. You can do bulk uploading and editing for both Instagram and Pinterest.
This is great for group boards because you can bulk schedule other people’s posts with ease! I signed up for a lot of group boards, so I need all the help I can get with sharing enough posts.
Tailwind will suggest times for you to post based on your traffic performance and engagement. I was told the best thing to do is have a nice and steady stream of posts all day everyday. And that the bare minimum is to spread them out by at least 30 minutes.
You can look up post performance and see how many repins you have gotten. This will help you keep the top performing posts a priority in your sharing schedule.
I am sure you have hear about Tailwind Tribes too. This is pretty much an extension for Pinterest, but with more like minded people that are willing to share a lot more. You can join up to ten for free. Even if you don’t have a Tailwind account, Tribes are always free!
Tailwind can be used completely free, but you will have a limit on posts. I definitely upgraded my account so I can post unlimited things on both accounts.
In the next 4-8 weeks they are going to open their “Smart Loop” program and will be open to test out. You can apply here. This will allow you to have evergreen content which means it will smartly post it at the best times over and over without having to edit everything again.
Tailwind will suggest similar content to make sharing even easier!
What I like best about Tailwind is that you can tell the people who created this app know what they are doing.
You know that they use Pinterest and Instagram to grow their business because of how incredibly simple everything is.
All of the shortcuts and help that can possibly be there are there! You get a free trial, so no sense in waiting. If you need an auto-posting service, start using Tailwind today and you will see the difference immediately.
Guaranteed or cancel your trial.
You will see more shares, make more friends with like-minded bloggers, and get more engagement online.
It takes time to get used to the whole idea, plus each person’s traffic ratio is different, so it is a constant process of tweaking your times and frequency. For example, I have been fearful of posting too much, so I have done it once an hour all day everyday.
Recently though, my Tailwind report let me know that my traffic has been engaging with my content at more frequent times. So now, I have increased my time slots on the weekend and post every half hour. I would not recommend doing more than that, plus make sure to share other people’s posts. A good ratio is share at least three for every one you post.
So far the change in posting frequency has brought me more followers, but I will keep a watch on it. If my followers are slowing down, I will cut back on the posting schedule. So basically, don’t listen to any one person. You will have to find the times and frequency that work for YOU. Hope this helps.
