What to Read:
Starting my blog and Network Marketing business two years ago, I had no idea what I was doing. Because I didn’t know what I was doing, my confidence suffered as well. I knew I had to BE better to be able to DO better things in my life. These are the books that have changed my life and my business, so I want to share them with you because I know the power within these pages.
Maybe you would say that I am a course and book junkie, but I really like getting a lot of different opinions and insights. You never know what little golden nuggets that you may find.
Once my blog started bringing in regular money, I invested much more in specialty courses to help gain more insight on things I could improve. There will always be someone a few steps ahead and a few steps behind where you are in life. Learning from THEM is the only way keep growing, and because these things cost hard earned money, book reviews help weed out the things that might be a waste.
For Your Business:

Building Your Network marketing Business, by Jim Rohn: Another Network Marketing super star. Jim Rohn is a truly inspiring man. In this audio cd he talks about ways to talk to potential customers that will have them chasing you instead of the other way around. He will help build your confidence AND your business with simple shifts in awareness and perception.
This course is one you have heard of I am sure. If not, please take notice. This course is one of the best because she speaks to you in a very teacher tone, so if you don’t know anything at all about Affiliate Marketing, you will feel right at home with this course.
She takes you through the entire process of PURE beginning to pro, the WAY she uses affiliate links in her posts and website, she gives you resources for affiliates, and describes a process that beginners can follow easily (check out my list too…if varies quite a bit from hers…). If you don’t have the extra cash for the course, then please check out my affiliate marketing post…you get ALMOST all the goods that you will want.
This is a book that will take you step by step on things to help your Pinterest profile stand out. Pretty generic ideas so it is nice for beginners, but also random tips for blogger type minds. Totally worth a read.
Creative Inc. is a fantastic source for the artistic freelancer. These ladies give you interviews, detailed business information and recommendations to create a lucrative and lasting creative business all on your own.
This book is a must read for all bloggers of all niches. She gives you her blogging methods, and prepare you emotionally what it is like to run a profitable blog.
This is a very short read, helped me get my blog set up all by myself…but technology is changing all the time so I can’t tell you it has Evergreen value…but if you are not feeling confident doing it yourself and don’t have the money to pay someone, this is worth having by your side.
Jason McDonald is a very valuable source to have on your side. He taught at an Ivy League school and has a blog helping others teach themselves about SEO. Design Your Own Blog, Blog Beautiful, by marianne manthey.
This book is a must have when learning ways you want to design your own blog to look professional while doing everything yourself. She focuses on keeping your sidebar clean, ways to size your items, picture editing help, etc. Totally DIY for everything visual on your blog. If you sign up for her newsletter, she teaches you about SEO too!
Love this one for Network Marketing. When I first started out, I was soooooo nervous and am social awkward so talking to people just made me stumble over my own words and mentally blank out…something I am working on, lol. BUT, this book teaches you how to approach people in a non-salesy way to reach out in your community to widen your client base. I love the way she talks to you in the book and would recommend it to anyone that needs a confidence boost for your Network Marketing business.
Gina Horkey is a TOP DOG of virtual assistants. She started everything on her own and helps thousands of others create a lasting and abundant style of life working from home. Her instructions are simple, and this post gives you the steps and different types of work to look for in easy to understand posts. She can help you if you are looking for a virtual assistant too:)

If you have ever thought about Proofreading for a living from home, then this is your gal. She too, started her own business from the ground up and helps others do the same. She offers a free course RIGHT AWAY, and you will know from this if you would like to pursue Proofreading even further.
Not sure how long the course will be free, so I would check it out while it is still available!
Brush Lettering is one of my new found loves. This book gives you the down lo on how to make all the most common brush strokes, and she offers practice pages as well. Online she offers free AND paid courses to help you digitize your work.
Building A Framework does exactly as the title says, plus she has added a gazillion more workbooks, videos, and really everything you need to start a profitable blog. You won’t be sorry you took this course by any means. She offers tons of freebies too, so if you can’t afford much right now, she is a nice resource to have bookmarked.
Blog Inc is written by one of the authors from Creative Inc. This book is cool because she talks about a lot of details that might not think of on your own. She includes a bunch of interviews from other bloggers so you get more than one point of view. Loved it.
This self-help book helps people who know they are caretakers…basically unable to say no to helping others even if it is not best for the caretaker. If you are constantly wearing yourself down and put other’s needs before yours all the time, you might find some benefit and relief in this book like I did. It is super easy to read, and you only read ONE post per day for a year.
